Dr. Keith A. Mihaly has strong ties to the Buffalo Grove community. Having grown up in Glenview, he attended Glenbrook South High School. He started his journey in optometry at the University of Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He then graduated Cum Laude with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry.
In February 1989, Dr. Mihaly opened Alan Optical in Buffalo Grove. In May 2008, he moved the practice to a new facility to better serve his patients.
Dr. Mihaly loves providing comprehensive family eye care, especially for those with challenging contact lens needs. He is skilled in diagnosing and treating various eye problems and offers pre and post-operative care for LASIK and cataract patients.
Dr. Mihaly is a dedicated leader in the field. He is a previous executive board member of United Eye Care Providers and The Laser Network. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association, showing his commitment to staying at the forefront of optometry.
